My posts will probably be most about photography as it is something i enjoy and want to share.

Anyways, I called my self spannerr, as:

  1. Spanner was taken. Phfut! How rude! I just added an extra r. Clever thinking, I think so.
  2. Spanner was a nick name I was called in junior school because it rhymes with my name. At first I wasn’t that keen, but it came to a point that even my teachers were calling me that. So yunno, it kinda grew on me.
  3. It was the first thing I could think of for a user name as I sat there staring at an empty box with a total mind block for about an hour before the name spanner occurred to me.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I have a Terrible habit of laughing at the wrong moments. I say sorry way too much. I don’t really know why, I say it without realising it, is that so bad? Sadly, my hair is not naturally straight, I straighten it for hours every morning. And yes I am aware that it is ‘bad’ for my hair but I prefer it straight than flicking out at different angles and looking like a total idiot, agree? I enjoy a good laugh, but who doesn’t, eh? I am a little bit of a perfectionist. Oh who I am kidding?! I am a total perfectionist! My friends like to annoy me by moving my stuff around and then watch me trying to resist moving it back and laugh at me once I give up and put all my stuff back into place. All neat, tidy and perfect.

      • Hey Spannerr, That’s a great nickname, My daughter’s name is Hannah too. I love that name. So even though she is Canadian I was born and raised in England, Malvern Worcestershire.

      • Hahaa! It was the only name I can think of. Spanner was a childhood nickname. I like my name also. Your daughter sounds cool, purely because she has an awesome name 😀

    • Hahaa! Thanks! My friend today was teling me about how she got offered alcohol by the age 8 friends. being the lovely person my friend is, she said no and walked away. SO definatley be on your guard. 😀 Thanks Gina. I must say taht your blog, is amazing. Great theme. Thanks, Spannerr

    I like your outlook – about writing about just about anything. My blog is photogtaphy based, but there are times when something gets me and I just need to write about it. 🙂
    Good choice for a name – difference is good.

      Tank you, I am now following you also. Photography kinda speaks for itslef. So sometimes, you can just post a picture and let people descide what they think its about and means.

      Spannerr, just seemed a cool name.

    Glad you stopped by and enjoyed looking around! You have some great posts up and i’ve enjoyed reading them, and looking at the pictures of course! It’s always cool when someone who’s into photography likes my posts, I’ve been trying to mix it up a little, between the boat, the soon baby and the camera, I should always have something to blog about!
